About Me
Hey there, my name is Derek Douglas. Thanks for dropping in to learn a little more about me. If you've made it this far, you've probably guessed that I'm a photographer based in the Niagara River region of New York. That's all true, but even more importantly, I'm a husband, father, and active member of the community.
I became interested in photography because I love stories. Landscapes, street, portraits--the style or subject doesn't really matter--if I see a story, I want to take part in the re-telling of it to others.
I founded my business in 2023 after returning home to Niagara County from twelve years spent serving our country. Seeking a reset, I decided to take this incredibly scary professional plunge into a world I love. After all, if not now, when?
On the business side, I pride myself in providing high standards of work, communication, and professionalism with my clients. I want to help you tell your story . . . how you envision it.

For businesses: commercial photography packages and headshots.
For individuals: family photography sessions, portraits (on-location, no studio work), and headshots.

Expertise
I maintain a keen personal interest in black and white photography, but also enjoy working with a variety of post-processing styles and techniques to meet my clients' tastes and resonate with their personal style.
Location
You can find me out and about in all areas of Western New York, though I am open to travel for exciting opportunities.
